Home Health | Private Duty | Durable Medical Equipment
On February 14, we are going together to Annapolis to teach our legislators what home care is, how important home care is to our lives and to ask them to increase reimbursement for skilled home care nursing. If we are brave and share our stories, we can get better pay for home care nurses and ensure that the people who need home health care can reliably get all of the hours their doctors have prescribed. You've always been an advocate. Join us in Annapolis to take it to the next level.
If you would like MNCHA to make the appointment for you, let us know! If you are not sure who your legislators are, please send your home and work addresses to dseek@mncha.org and we will look them up for you.
After you have made an appointment, email MNCHA the name of the Delegate or Senator you are meeting and the time of the appointment. If you would like someone to accompany you, please indicate this in the email as well.
Be sure to continue to build your relationship with these decision-makers when you join us for Legislative Day on March 12!
Wear comfortable, but professional walking shoes as Annapolis is largely paved in brick and cobblestone. Make sure you have your state-issued ID for security and bring plenty of business cards! We are expecting several other advocacy groups in Annapolis, so arriving early to park is a great idea if possible.
