Recent natural disasters and extreme weather have reminded us about the things we can take for granted in life – and in how we run our healthcare organizations.  If you do not have the correct IT infrastructure and disaster recovery processes in place, you cannot provide care for your patients as effectively.  This education session will teach you the right Disaster Recovery principles, and how to keep your institution operating smoothly during a Disaster Recovery period.

Education Overview

73% of organizations that experienced a systems failure were down for 30 minutes or more!  This presentation will communicate business continuity and survival by leading your organization through three essential steps.  We will discuss in general terms the concepts of business continuity and disaster planning. We will focus primarily on specific IT strategies you can easily and affordably implement.
Learning Objectives Include:
  • Learn to identify objectives for recovery time and data protection
  • Understand threats and regulations that impact your business
  • Compare and contrast common downtime protection methods
