About the Speaker

Gilbert Marez, DMIN, Chaplain, Medica Health Management

A dynamic and engaging speaker, Dr. Gilbert Marez is the co-founder and senior pastor of Camino de Paz Christian Church in Fort Worth, Texas. He is also the senior Chaplain for Medica Health Management.
A native of San Antonio, Texas, Gilbert received the degree of Doctor of Pastoral Ministry and Counseling and a Master of Divinity degree from Texas Christian University. He was ordained by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Arizona at Park Avenue Christian Church in Tucson, Arizona. He is active in the fields of politics, civil rights, gender equality and health promotion. Pastor Gilbert is also a loving husband to Cecilia Marez and father to Aaron and Erica.
