Salary: $120,000 to $150,000
Award winning nonprofit home care agency, established in 1957, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. This is a key strategic role responsible for overseeing all financial operations, supporting organizational growth, and ensuring compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, at least 10 years of progressive financial management experience—preferably in the nonprofit sector—and a strong track record of supervising staff and managing complex budgets, including grant funding. A deep understanding of GAAP, federal grant regulations (2 CFR 200), and nonprofit compliance standards is essential. Experience working with DC-area government agencies and knowledge of DACL grants is a strong plus. The CFO will lead a team of three, manage systems like BusinessCentral and Paycom, and partner closely with the executive team and board to drive long-term financial strategy.
