The seventh session in this series, led by Kristi Bajer, RN, MSN and Michael McGowan of OperaCare, provides education on how to ensure that your agency has the correct knowledge and processes in place to ensure compliance with the new CoP’s.  Specific focus and leaning objectives are:

  • The difference between Conditions of Participation and Conditions in Payment
  • Lessons learned from CoP compliance projects
  • Why compliance with the CoP’s is critical to your agency’s ability to survive VBP and HHGM
  • What you can do/change to ensure compliance with the CoP’s.

About the Educator

Kristi Bajer BSN, RN
VP of Clinical Operations

Kristi started her home health career as an RN case manager. Over time she became the Director of Nursing, Administrator and most recently, Regional Director over 6 agencies in Texas. As a regional director, she facilitated four successful accreditation surveys by The Joint Commission. She created diagnosis specific programs for the top 30-day readmission DRG’s using evidence based practice and reduced her agencies readmissions by 70%. She assists agencies with external chart audits and Medicare appeals, as well as providing training and coaching on OperaCare implementation and building QAPI programs using data to drive success and protect agencies from government audits.
