Join Joseph Annelli and Ann Horton, as they present on Emergency Preparedness

Emergency Preparedness for Seniors Living at Home

Joseph Annelli, Special Projects Coordinator for the Department of  Health and Mental Hygiene’s Office of Preparedness and Response

Ann Horton, M.S., Executive Director, Maryland-National Capital  Homecare Association.

Seniors are living longer and fuller lives at home, but when  emergency strikes, things can get tough. Seniors and their caregivers need to be prepared for power outages, ice storms, and more. We all must have the supplies, tools and plans in place before disaster happens. This presentation will help seniors and their caregivers learn about emergency preparedness at home, and special  considerations for those on power-dependent equipment or living with diabetes.
