Our highly skilled staff can assist with many different facets of medical care. We work with families and their loved one’s doctor and other health care providers to create a care plan that will meet their needs.

Under the direct supervision of the Senior Vice President of Home Health and Community Services, the Director of Operations and Clinical Services is responsible for overall operations and clinical services for the assigned Branch. In this dynamic position you will oversee and coordinate all activities of the office including building an effective team with coordinated priorities and activities, while managing branch outcomes.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • Responsible for ensuring that clinical practices are evidence based and are in alignment with agency policy and procedures
  • Responsible to ensure that Quality department performance improvement projects for the branch are carried out and lead to improved outcomes
  • Ensures compliance regarding licensing, certification, all regulatory and accreditation body’s agency policy and procedures and grant requirements within branch.
  • Responsible for branch being in compliance with all conditions of participation, state/federal regulations and accreditation standards, Surveys by state, regulatory and accreditation bodies demonstrate compliance with all conditions of participations and are deficiency free.
  • Insures that staffing/management are adequate and in accordance with all regulations and conditions of participation. Responsible to ensure that program supervisors provide appropriate onboarding as well as staff retention/engagement activities are developed and effective.
  • Demonstrates servant leadership style ,which result in high levels of engagement of team members
  • Reviews issues, problems and concerns critically and provides alternatives and solutions to issues identified. Collaborates with quality and risk as needed for educational needs and solution planning for unique patient scenarios.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Registered Nurse, active licensure in state of Delaware.
  •  Bachelors and Master’s degree required. One of the degrees must be in nursing
  •  Minimum five (5) years’ management experience.
  •  2 or more years of director level experience preferred.
  • Three or more years’ experience in home health/ community health required.
