About this Event
The home health regulatory environment is ever-changing, and the recent shift in focus to measuring the quality of patient care has made it critical for clinical staff and agency administrators to understand the Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS). The majority of the current home health value-based purchasing (HHVBP) measures come from OASIS assessments. This in-depth, two-day OASIS training will empower you with the knowledge you need to improve quality outcomes, achieve compliance, and receive accurate payment.
Attendees will receive an overview of the OASIS instrument, its purpose and background, and proper guidelines and conventions to ensure accurate completion of the M items. This includes items used for publicly reported 5-Star data and measuring quality processes and outcomes in the value-based purchasing model. We will teach you with real examples on how to document for optimal patient outcomes and compliance, while understanding revenue, HHVBP and published 5-Star Rating implications.
There's a lot riding on the accurate understanding and documentation of OASIS, and this training ensures you and your agency are prepared for the way that OASIS C1/C2 changes the home health industry. This seminar will prepare your organization for the changes ahead, allowing you to avoid additional scrutiny while improving productivity. Our expert faculty will share powerful and proven success strategies to ensure compliance, improve outcomes, and ensure OASIS accuracy to avoid costly disruptions to your organization.
