ICD-10: A Suppliers Guide to Proactively Managing the Transition Webinar

Hosted by MiraVista

About the Webinar

The deadline to transition your diagnosis codes to the ICD-10 code set is quickly approaching. With just weeks left before the October 1st deadline, Reimbursement consultant Andrea Stark has prepared this session to map out what this transition will look like for DME providers. CMS is projecting a hard cutoff for the use of ICD-9 codes effective Sept. 30, 2015, and providers must proactively prepare and transition their codes to avoid unnecessary interruptions in revenue flow. Beginning Oct. 1, 2015, claims without the proper ICD-10 codes will be rejected. Don’t wait for claim rejections; take action now!

This webcast will cover:

  • Exploring the ICD-10 code set—transitioning commonly used codes for diagnosis-driven products, such as CPAP, nebulizer, support surfaces, and supplies
  • Tips for communicating with your software vendor to ensure a smooth transition

  • How to leverage online tools and resources to work through the transition process

  • A practical strategic guide to identifying and transitioning your recurring sales orders

  • Mitigating issues with forms and clinical documentation during the transition
